Barbaresco is pleased to sponsor The TechExecs Network Cocktails and Connections executive networking event, on Tuesday, January 18th, and welcomes the opportunity to entertain the potential new clients that belong to our group - the type of clients that any up-scale restaurant would love to have!
Backdropped by a dramatic mural depicting a windblown violinist before a menacing tree, Barbaresco Restaurant and Bar juxtaposes enormous works of bold art with natural woods and the simple elegance of its Tuscan-themed menu. Served in a cast-iron pot of tomato sauce, the beef-and-veal Campagnia-style meatballs enclose such delicious secrets as molten Buffalo-mozzarella centers and forgotten childhood dreams. Penne rigate comes tossed with gorgonzola-cheese sauce and piquant walnuts, while scampi piccanti delivers spicy, sauteed shrimp with shallots and garlic in beer sauce. A 20-ounce bone-in rib eye dresses up steak cravings with sangiovese-wine sauce, poblano scalloped potatoes, and crispy leeks. For after-dinner sweets, savor the tiramisu, a cocktail-like concoction of ladyfinger cake, chocolate- and espresso-flavored mascarpone, liquid caramel, and sunshine—all soaked with Marsala and Kahlua and served in a martini glass.
Plenty of wines are available from Barbaresco for launching stomach celebrations or intoxicating the mouth-people. Floors made of tree parts and ceiling supports and creatively chunked together by mismatched patches of wood make Barbaresco a charming locale for giving in to your body’s constant insistence that it be nourished.
